Q&A a Day by Potter Style-Book Review

About this book:
""Do you ever stop to wonder how you got where you are? The Q&A a Day Journal shows you what was going through your head each day—for five years of your life. Simply turn to today’s date, answer the question at the top of the page, and when you finish the journal, start over. As you return to the daily questions again over the years, you’ll notice how your answers change (or don’t)! With questions that are sometimes provocative (“On a scale of one to ten, how happy are you?”), occasionally quirky (“What can you smell right now?”), and inevitably interesting (“If you could travel anywhere tomorrow, where would you go?”), this classically designed journal—embellished with beautiful details—is the perfect gift for anyone embarking on a new phase of life.""

To start, if you didn't get it from the information above, this isn't a chapter book, it's a journal.
I love journals; been writing in one for as long as I can remember. I remember seeing this a year or two ago and was curious as to how I'd like it, so when I saw it offered through Blogging for Books, I was intrigued and quickly requested it.
The questions are fun, some easy while others require more thought.
It's size is smaller and a little cramped feeling to me; for as thick as it is, I wish they made the book larger than (around) 4X6 inches.
Also, I received this in February, and the way it's laid out, I had to skip all of January's questions (that or wait a year to start-as it's designed to start January 1st), the only part of the date you have to fill in is the date.
I was disappointed that there wasn't a ribbon to mark your spot. The binding is tight preventing the book from lying flat, so you have to hold it open to write in it.

In closing, this is a wonderful place to start if you want to start journaling, or if you'd like prompts as to what to write. I'd definitely recommend this book; my sister who wants to start journaling but feels overwhelmed by the idea, loved this book and wants to get one.
