This stress is going to be the death of me....

I believe my sister said it best, "Sick goat? Check. Sick kitten? Check. Sick horse? Check. Sick of this? Check."
Tayla was down yesterday morning when Samantha did chores, and she forgot to tell us to check on her so she was down all day. When we went to do chores last night, she was still down. We made her stand and walk. She didn't act like it was colic, she wasn't biting at her side, pawing, moaning or swishing her tail. She did want to lay down, but not thrash, just roll a little. The strange thing is she always laid down on her right side and would roll a little then stop, holding a position, as if putting pressure on one spot. We walked her for and hour and a half (not continually of course, we stopped and rested a lot), trying to get her to poop, but nothing...we finally decided to stall her when (it was cold) she started to steam and mid a faster walk her back legs buckled-she wanted to lay down so bad she just went down.....she was fine when I checked on her this morning, she walked out of the stall and out of the barn....

Fubar is doing a little better. He's starting to move around now.

Sadly, little Norma Jean-the sick kitten, passed away this morning. I picked her up to force feed her and she just kind of looked and me (I was having to hold her head up at this point-she had gotten so weak), then she went was really sad, but, I'm glad her suffering is over.

We're down to half a round bale or hay...we posted an ad looking for affordable hay (everyone is crazy with prices!) We found some, so hopefully everything works out and we get some hay soon!!!
