Merry Christmas

December 25th
Let the just rejoice,
for their Justifier is born.
Let the sick and infirm rejoice,
For their savior is born.
Let the captives rejoice,
For their Redeemer is born.
Let slaves rejoice,
for their Master is born.
Let free men rejoice,
For their Liberator is born.
Let All Christians rejoice,
For Jesus Christ is born.
St. Augustine of Hippo (AD 354-440)

Christmas Morning Prayer
As we begin Christmas day God, fill our hearts with joy on the day of You son, Jesus Christ, birth. When Your precious Son came to earth as a baby born in a stable in Bethlehem, You changed our world. We thank You for our lives, both material and spiritual. Thank you for giving us the best Christmas gift ever when you sent Your son. Help us to accept that awesome gift with joyful hearts. Fill us with love, joy and peace God. God of all gifts, we thank you for the many ways you have blessed us. Thank you for today and the family gathered around the dinner table this evening. ~Amen~

So ends my Christmas advent and the Christmas season. I really hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wish you a great New Year!!!
