It rained on and off the entire day yesterday. It started out a nice heavy rain, but by the end of the day it was more of a mist. And even though it rained all day, the yard is barely wet...but hey, rain in rain.
For the past month and a half Samantha and I have been trying to sell 5 of our black hens. We waited 2 weeks for one guy to pick them up-he was a no show. We set up another time for a different man and again, another no show! It's so aggravating! We need to post them again and hope we have another taker.
We're all out of hay, and our hay guy rented out his fields this year so we're scrambling to find hay for the winter.
Update since last post: Alien, Phantom and Blue came back the next day. But this past Sunday we took the three and dropped them off at my Granny's. She lives further off the road, and even if the kittens wonder off there are lots of houses and barns near by...I didn't want to bring them, I love them, but as mom said, we'll always have kittens and at least they're safer there.
