We were planning on getting our Christmas tree today; but it's been raining since yesterday morning. Our entire property is starting to look like a pond!

Some people wonder how a Christian can have a Christmas tree... I feel that the tree represents Christ's everlasting life...even after being cut down the tree still stays green and beautiful....
To me, a tree is just a fun decorating thing I do during December; I don't worship it and I still remember what Christmas is all about!
When it comes to decorating the tree, you decorate a tree with not only those glass balls and pretty lights, but also with ornaments you like, be it, an ornament of an elephant, baby's first Christmas, a saddle, mickey tangled in Christmas lights or an ornament your kid made.
Your tree represents who you are....if you walk into a house and the tree has dog ornaments, you know the people in that house must love dogs...
Ornaments usually hold special meaning, special meaning usually comes from something you're thankful for; which, it turn, you have to thank God about......am I making any sense?
Oh, and yes, we cut down a Christmas tree- we use live trees...call it what you want, but Christmas trees are specifically grown for Christmas, and for every one tree cut two are planted.

The Song of day is Michael BublĂ©'s Santa Buddy...I love the song Santa Baby and Michael BublĂ©'s version is (obviously) a guy version of the song; it's a lot of fun how he changes things to make them more manly.

My older brother; Spencer, is the Scrooge/Grinch of the house. He hates Christmas ("The Grinch hated Christmas - the whole Christmas season. Now, please don't ask why; no one quite knows the reason.")....
I just keep being a merry, jolly, Christmas crazy sister hoping one day I'll rub off on him and he'll join me sing Christmas songs through the house-("And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet --Spencer does have Grinch like feet-- ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more. And what happened, then? Well, in Whoville they say - that the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day").

Merry Christmas!
