Pumpkin Torte

Wow; so only 10 days till Christmas! December it flying by!!! As I enjoy December with my family I can't help but think of all the soldiers over seas spending it away from their families- along with the families spending it without there military loved ones. I owe everything to those people who are willing to lay down their lives from others- so I wanted to say a special thank you to all who serve, served or are married, father, mother, sibling, daughter or son to someone who is or was in  the military!

Have you ever heard of a movie called 'Silent Night' (2002)?
It's based on a true story about a  mother (Linda Hamilton) and son living in cabin in Germany on Christmas Eve of 1944. However, soon she finds that three German soldiers and three American soldiers also need a place to spend the night, and she manages to forge a temporary peace between the opposing soldiers to enjoy a peaceful Christmas eve dinner.
It's a really good movies (and story- google it sometime!) I'd say this movie is really a must see, especially during Christmas time!!!

So; On that; the song of the day is Silent Night; by, well, whoever you want! Enya does a version in, I guess Irish and it's pretty cool...

Wake up the happiness- come on y'all, it's Christmas time!!!!!!!
Merry, merry, Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!
