Final Day-Heading Home (Road Trip Part 7)

*Wake up*-"the trips over already?!"

We get breakfast, eat, pack, and leave our room by 9:30-10-ish. We Check out of the hotel and move our truck over to a pay-parking lot.
We then walk on over to The Ripley's Aquarium.

The aquarium was really neat; and they had some great ideas for kids....but, though Samantha and I had fun going through it and don't regret paying for it (because we'd been saving for a long time, really wanting to go to it)....we went through it; twice, in half an hour.....
After the aquarium; we made our way down the street to The Hard Rock Cafe.
This being the first time we've visited a Hard Rock, we didn't know what to expect. And, boy, was it great!!!
Though it was pricey; Samantha and I had been eating pb&j's all week; saving our money to go here. We both ordered the Legendary Burger....and this is how it came....YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!
We also both ordered a chocolate milk shake...the whip topping looks funny- but that's because it's homemade. This was, by far, the best shake I've had...the chocolate, the whip all tasted so real and fresh!!!
After we were done eating it was about 12 o'clock...we made our way back to the truck and headed on home. We decided-since the aquarium wasn't as long as we thought it'd be-to stop at Big Bone Lick on the way home. We drove, and sang songs....and drove.....finally we reached Big Bone Lick- only to discover there visitor center was closed....but at least there walking trails were still open.
So; after four days and three nights, we were home. We actually got home at 7-in time to put our goats away. Mom did great milking for us- dad helped her feed and put the animals away.
Everyone survived, and Samantha and I had the best trip ever!!
We're so proud of ourselves traveling to a place we've never been before- I'm proud of myself for planning the entire trip (I did my research!).
Before this trip we didn't know how to check into a hotel...before this trip we never knew how to drive to TN.  Before this trip; we'd never gone on a trip where we couldn't rely on someone else to ask questions and figure stuff out....we did it!!!
Everyone needs to have a trip where risks are taken, where you have to rely on yourself, not your parents or others. Everyone needs a chance to have an adventure!!!!
I can't wait till Samantha and I can go on another adventure!!!
