I couldn't even imagine

April 6th, 2011
COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio
Owners of Oasis Farm, an Arabian horse farm, are grieving the loss of "23 members of their family".

23 horses and a newborn calf died in the fire. The fire started because of a heat lamp falling, the same heat lamp ment to keep the calf warm.
The owners put there lives in danger to run inside the burning barn in an attempt to save the horses. 12 made it out, two with serious injuries.
The 30,000 square foot barn was completely destroyed.

My heart goes out to this family! I could not imagine loosing my babies in such an awful way! To strangers animals might not have character, but the owners, each animal has it's own quirks, and it's own likes and dislikes.
So, please, keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.

Your Country Rose,
